The Miso Blondie from The Exploding Bakery was an absolute delight! The combination of sweet and savoury was executed perfectly, creating a unique flavour that kept me going back for more. The texture was spot on – chewy yet slightly crispy on the edges, just how I like it. The miso added a depth of flavour that was unexpected but thoroughly enjoyable. While it might not be for everyone, if you're adventurous with your sweet treats, this is a must-try! I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended.
I chose the Lemon Polenta and Pistachio Cake to send to friends as I really like it and knew that they like fruit flavours.They were delighted by the "unsual gift" and thoroughly enjoyed the cake. The couple said it was delicious and had eaten it all within 4 days!!
I'd like to say a big thank you to Mirjam for heIping me to make my purchase. I was having a problem doing so and she responded very quickly to my email, helping me to successfully submit my order for next day delivery. This needed to be on the Saturday, when we knew our friends would be at home. I obviously paid the additional fee for this Service, was a little "nervous" about Royal Mail (bearing in mind criticism in the Press) but must say that I was very impressed; the cake was delivered on the Saturday morning.

As a housebound disabled person I rely on my mother to do my shopping for me which makes is very hard to surprise her with a cake for her birthday! I saw this brand advertised on Sunday Brunch and decided to try them, they were delivered following my instructions and arrived safely. I ordered 2 different flavours for us to try and both were delicious, packed full of flavour and the texture was lovely which is not always easy with vegan and gluten free cakes. We loved every mouthful and will happily return for more! Thank you!
