DO YOU MAKE SELECTION BOXES WITH DIFFERENT FLAVOURS OF BROWNIES?
Sorry, we don't have these available at the moment. If you want to try a couple of flavours, we'd recommend ordering 2 different brownies and using a discount code FREEDELIVERY for your order.
CAN I SEND A LETTERBOX BROWNIE AS A PRESENT TO A FRIEND?
You sure can! All our brownies will be sent beautifully packaged with no receipts. You can also choose a free gift card to go with it and leave a note which will be handwritten by us.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP AND DO YOU DO SAME DAY SHIPPING?
We ship to mainland UK only as we want to make sure your cake arrives super quick and fresh. We only offer next day delivery if the order has been placed before 12pm. We deliver Tuesday-Friday. You can also choose a future delivery date provided it falls between Tuesday-Friday.
ARE ANY OF THE CAKES VEGAN, GLUTEN FREE OR DAIRY FREE?
All of our letterbox brownies are made using ingredients that do not contain gluten (Except our Rye brownie which is made with Rye flour), and many of them are also vegan. Please check the product ingredients in the shop. Vegan products will be marked with a (V) and gluten free with a (gf)
WILL MY BROWNIE FIT THROUGH MY LETTERBOX?
We cannot guarantee your delivery will be put through a letterbox. Our letterbox brownies have been designed to fit through a standard size UK letterbox: 242mm (w) x 30mm (h), however, not all letterboxes are standardised and DPD don't always post though the door. If more than 2 items have been ordered, the box size will change meaning it may be left at your door or delivered in more than 1 parcel. You can always add a safe delivery place when you order, you can choose to leave it with a neighbour or at your nearest post office.

WHAT IF I'M NOT IN?
No problem. You can choose a safe place for your delivery driver to leave your order, then collect it when you get home. It’s really easy to do this, here's how: When placing your order DPD will send you a tracking link where you can add delivery instructions. DPD will also send you a delivery time window on the day so you'll know when to expect your brownie to arrive. Please note that our brownies have a very long shelf life and will keep fresh even if you have missed a delivery.
HOW DO I STORE MY CAKES?
Your cakes will be fine at ambient temperature if you intend to scoff them within two days, otherwise they will keep in the fridge for up to 10 days. But they taste much better when eaten at room temperature.
MY ORDER HAS ARRIVED BUT...
My box is damaged/open: If this has happened, please get in touch with our customer care team with your order number and we will be able to get this sorted for you as soon as possible. If your brownie is a bit damaged, but still looks edible, we can highly recommend smashing it up and serving with a little ice cream or coconut cream, to save it going to waste, we’ll still send you another. MY ORDER HASN'T ARRIVED?
We work closely with our delivery partners to ensure every order is delivered to you on time. If your cake has not been delivered to your designated address by 8pm on the delivery day you selected, please let us know.
We will look into this for you with the delivery partner in charge of your order.

WHAT DAYS DO YOU DELIVER?
We ship next day Monday to Thursday, delivering from Tuesday to Friday using DPD.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
You can purchase on our website using a debit, credit card, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other wallets. You can choose these payment methods at checkout. We don't take orders or payment over the phone.
CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER OR THE DELIVERY ADDRESS?

HOW DO I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org and quote your order number. If an order is already on its way, we are not able to cancel it.
HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
We will send you an email with a link to track your order the day before your delivery . On the delivery day, you will also receive email updates about your order. If you need to speak to someone, please call DPD on - 01212 754815
MY DELIVERY WASN'T LEFT IN MY SAFE PLACE?
We’re really sorry to hear this has happened. We’re always speaking to our couriers to ensure your safe space instructions are followed. In the rare event your delivery is not in its safe place, kindly double check other possible spots and ensure it has not been left with a neighbour.

Please note that we don't make bespoke cakes but we offer a bunch of amazing varieties to choose from.
WHAT ALLERGENS ARE USED IN YOUR BAKERY?
The following allergens are all used on site - peanuts, nuts, sesame, flour (gluten), milk, soya.
We store allergens separately and always make sure we do a thorough clean down between the different products that we make. We do not recommend our products to coeliacs or anyone who has a severe allergy to any of the allergens above. Please check the information on the product page for full ingredients lists.

DO YOU MAKE WEDDING OR BIRTHDAY CAKES TO ORDER?
We don't make cakes to order or alter our ingredients or recipes. We only sell the tried and tested cakes from our price list. If you'd like to order cakes to be delivered at a venue, then please use one of our distributors (details on the cakes page). But order a day in advance to give the cakes time to thaw. WHY DO YOU FREEZE YOUR CAKES?
The main reason we do this is to protect the cake during transit and it ensures the cake arrives in one piece. Cake is very fragile. Freezing also preserves flavour and prolongs the shelf life without damaging the structure of cake. We can't tell the difference between a cake that's been frozen cake and one that's hasn't.
WHY DO YOU MARK YOUR CAKES?
Our cakes are marked into portions as they come out of the oven. Because we gear our production towards cafes, farm shops & delis, the portion control makes it easier for the staff who work in these places.
WHY DO WE HAVE TO ADD THE ICING ON THE CARROT CAKE?
We provide a vacuum bag of cream cheese icing for the carrot cake. Again, this protects the cake and ensures it looks its best when put out on display (we have a cake icing tutorial video to accompany).
WHY THE NAME?
Tom comes from a long line of bakers and actually his relatives still bake in Sherborne. But many moons ago, his great granddad's bakery exploded due to a static build up from the flour particles rubbing together. Luckily we don't keep that much flour.
WHAT BREAD DO YOU BAKE?
We specialise in cakes, although we make a very limited amount of white sourdough loaves at our cafe using organic unbleached flour from Gilchesters. We don't make wholesale bread, but we can recommend Coombeshead Farm in the South West. Or Hobbs House Bakery for the rest of the country. We no longer make soda bread, but click here for our recipe.
CAN I PICK UP A WHOLE CAKE FROM THE CAFE?
Sorry. We can no longer service selling to the public directly, but please feel free to use one of our distributors. We also have slices of cake available to buy on the counter in the cafe.
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER?

DO YOU HAVE GLUTEN FREE CAKES?
Yes we do, we have a range of different Gluten Free cakes and some Dairy Free, plus a couple of Vegan cakes.
