Delivery and info

Delivered next day via DPD if ordered before 2pm (excluding Highlands and islands - we deliver to Mainland UK only and deliveries to Highlands take 2 days). Orders shipped Monday to Friday. We charge £3.95 per delivery and offer free delivery for all orders over £25. There is an additional £10 fee for Saturday delivery.

Please note that letterbox brownies are delivered via Royal Mail, however we can't guarantee items to be delivered through a letterbox. DPD deliveries will not be left at the door for security reasons. If the recipient isn't present, the parcel will be taken to the nearest collection point. Delivery times are out of our control and DPD may deliver up until 6pm. If you need your cakes to arrive before 12pm, please get in touch info@expodingbakery.com for a customised quote.

Deliveries arrive ambient and can be refrigerated or frozen on arrival.

Beyond delicious

Absolutely delicious product and the added extra of the recipe card was a bonus. I've made it already and it works perfectly.
Virtually all cakes bought from shops these days are nothing like they used to be (dry, tasteless and fall into a plateful of crumbs as soon as touched) because most bakers seem to have given up using butter and use rapeseed, palm oil and a long list of chemicals instead). Horrible!! Thank goodness for the few that still use the traditional ingredients.
I was very amused by the text advising the time of delivery. It read "Your Exploding parcel will be delivered between etc etc." The delivery driver's laugh was a very nervous one!

FAQs

Are any of the cakes vegan, gluten free or dairy free?
Most of our cake is gluten free and we also have vegan products available. Please check the product ingredients in the shop. Vegan products will be marked with a (V) and gluten free with a (gf)
Where do you ship and do you do same day shipping?
We ship to mainland UK only as we want to make sure your cake arrives super quick and fresh. We only offer next day delivery (2 day delivery to Highlands) if the order has been placed before 2pm. We deliver Tuesday-Saturday. Saturday delivery has an additional £10 fee. You can also choose a future delivery date provided it falls between Tuesday-Saturday.
What if I'm not in?
No problem. You can choose a safe place for your delivery driver to leave your order, then collect it when you get home. It's really easy to do this, here's how: When placing your order DPD will send you a tracking link where you can add delivery instructions. DPD will also send you a delivery time window on the day so you'll know when to expect your brownie to arrive. Please note that our brownies have a very long shelf life and will keep fresh even if you have missed a delivery. If you haven't left instructions and miss a delivery, DPD will either automatically deliver the next day or take your item to a neaby shop where you can collect it.
Can I send cakes and brownies as a present to a friend?
You sure can! All our cakes and brownies will be sent beautifully packaged with no receipts. You can also choose a free gift message and a card to go with which will be handwritten by us.
