The Straight Up Brownie is exactly what it says on the tin—pure, unadulterated chocolate goodness. No messing about, just a seriously rich, and probably our fudgiest brownie. 

Self-deprecating in its appearance this slab of hunk has more complexity than looks give credit. The fruitiness of the chocolate gives the flamboyance and flair in the mouth, which you’d expect with something that originates from Latin America.

Gooey centred brownie made with 100% Colombian chocolate. Simple, indulgent, and straight to the point!

Delivery and info

Delivered next day via DPD if ordered before 2pm (excluding Highlands and islands - we deliver to Mainland UK only and deliveries to Highlands take 2 days). Orders shipped Monday to Friday. We charge £6.50 per delivery and offer free delivery for all orders over £100. There is an additional £10 fee for Saturday delivery.

Deliveries arrive ambient and can be refrigerated or frozen on arrival. Please note that delivery times are out of our control. DPD may deliver up until 6pm. If you need your cakes to arrive before 12pm, please get in touch info@expodingbakery.com for a customised quote.

Please note that letterbox brownies are delivered via Royal Mail, however we can't guarantee items to be delivered through a letterbox. DPD deliveries will not be left at the door for security reasons. If the recipient isn't present, the parcel will be taken to the nearest collection point.

I regularly order from Tom and Ollie and their brilliant team at The Exploding Bakery and I just can’t shout about them loudly enough. Everything they bake and make is never anything less than totally delicious, fantastically presented, and delivered within days - no matter where I’m sending them. Their branding echoes a sense of fun and clearly comes from the passion inbuilt in everyone on the team, and the ideas and recipes for their cakes and brownies are inspirational. And YUM. Cannot recommend this brand more highly. So a huge thank you to everyone at EB for making so many of my friends happy! Suzi x

Can I send cakes and brownies as a present to a friend?
You sure can! All our cakes and brownies will be sent beautifully packaged with no receipts. You can also choose a free gift message and a card to go with which will be handwritten by us.
Where do you ship and do you do same day shipping?
We ship to mainland UK only as we want to make sure your cake arrives super quick and fresh. We only offer next day delivery (2 day delivery to Highlands) if the order has been placed before 2pm. We deliver Tuesday-Saturday. Saturday delivery has an additional £10 fee. You can also choose a future delivery date provided it falls between Tuesday-Saturday.
Do you have gluten free cakes?
Yes we do, we have a range of different Gluten Free cakes and some Dairy Free, plus Vegan cakes.
