In 2024, we took things up a notch and invested in a fully electric van. Enter Big Mary: our pink, planet-friendly chariot, zipping us around on local site visits in a much greener way.
Planning our cake routes now involves a bit of a maths lesson: will we have enough charge? Are the chargers actually working? Will we need to drive in sub-zero temperatures with numb fingers just to keep the battery going? It sure has been a journey (literally). We’ve been late, lost, and left cursing broken charging stations.

The negatives aside, we are confident we've made the right decision. Even after a few hiccups, we're happy to be championing a greener way of travelling. The more businesses that make the switch, the better the infrastructure will get. Plus, driving Big Mary is like cruising around in a giant pink go-kart, and who doesn’t want that.
