You’ve probably had our Banana Bread which is certainly a banger on its own, or perhaps you've seen the recipe in our Bake It, Slice It, Eat It book. But have you ever tried pimping it up? Toast it, top it, turn it into pudding. Impress your regulars. Or your date. Or just yourself on a Tuesday night.

At our cafe we've pushed the boat out by serving Banana Bead with grilled bananas, coconut yoghurt (to keep it fully vegan) and a drop of olive oil for an extra smooth texture.

 

Maybe try adding toasted coconut flakes for a tropical twist and pretty, edible flowers to make it look extra inviting. If you're a rebel wanting to break the rules, just add loads of butter on a toasted version for the perfect breakfast menu item.
