FoodCycle
In 2022 at Christmas we partnered with FoodCycle, so we wanted to take a moment to tell you about all the good work they do. Their vision is to make food poverty, loneliness and food waste a thing of the past for every community.
We donated a three course meal to FoodCycle for every Scrooge Chocolate Orange Brownie and Scrooge Chocolate Orange Letterbox Brownie sold that Christmas. FoodCycle connects communities to reduce loneliness and food poverty. They do this by creating welcoming spaces for people from all walks of life to meet, eat and have conversations.
By cooking with surplus ingredients, FoodCycle promotes healthy, sustainable attitudes towards food and its impact on the environment. Plus they help people to learn more about healthy food. FoodCycle aims to inspire greater change by sharing the impact of community dining spaces using the voices of their guests to encourage more people to join and support FoodCycle.

Many find themselves struggling to make ends meet, whilst others find themselves more isolated than ever before in this economic climate. FoodCycle will be there for everyone who needs them this winter, no questions asked.
Their community meal projects connect communities, providing a warm, friendly welcome and a free hearty three-course meal. Through their check-in and chat befriending calls, volunteers also provide regular social contact for people at risk of loneliness.
For every Scrooge Chocolate Orange Brownie and Scrooge Chocolate Orange Letterbox Brownie sold during Christmas, 2022, we donated a three course meal to FoodCycle.
